Google now lets anyone make three free 15-second AI videos a month
Google's new Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash makes clips up to 15 seconds long. In Google Vids, anyone with a Google account can make three a month at no cost.

Google has a new AI video model, and you can try it for free.
The model is called Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash. It makes video clips up to 15 seconds long. The last version stopped at 10 seconds. Google released it on Thursday in a blog post from its DeepMind team.
The free part is in Google Vids, Google's tool for making and editing videos. Google says anyone with a Google account or a Google Workspace subscription can now make up to three 15-second videos a month there at no cost.
What can you make? Google suggests product promos, short social posts and simple explainers. You can upload your own photos. The people and places in them should look the same from the first frame to the last. Google also says voices sound more natural now, with clearer lip-sync.
You can also fix a clip by asking for a change, like a new background or different lighting. You do not have to start over.
For businesses that pay for each second of video, Google cut the price by 30% compared with the last version. The model is rolling out in Google's tools for app makers, in Google Cloud and in Google Ads.
Every video carries an invisible SynthID watermark. That is a hidden tag that marks the video as made by AI.
If you run a small business, this is a cheap way to test a short promo clip before you pay anyone to film one.
Open it and check the claim yourself. That is the point.
