Amazon has two new gadgets that try to remember things for you. The company calls them "two new devices that expand what personal AI can do". They are part of its Bee line, and Amazon shared the news on October 15.

The first is Bee Frontier. You can wear it on your wrist or clip it to your clothes. It costs $74.99 and is on sale now. Amazon says the battery lasts up to seven days.

The second is Bee Eclipse. It is a slim device about the size of a credit card. It sticks to the back of your phone with a magnet. It will cost from $99.99 and is coming soon.

What do they do? When you turn one on, it listens to your conversation. Then it writes short summaries, to-do lists and reminders. Amazon's example is easy to picture: you make coffee plans with a friend and later forget the time.

Bee can also link to apps like Gmail and Google Calendar. After a meeting, it can draft a follow-up email or make a calendar invite. It can also link to Alexa+ and to Amazon.com for shopping ideas.

What about privacy? Amazon says "No audio is ever stored." The sound is turned into notes right away and then deleted. A small light shows when the device is on. On phone calls, Bee asks you to get permission from the other people each time.

Some features need a paid plan called Bee Pro. It costs $11.99 per month, and new users get 30 days free.

What this does not mean. It does not mean Bee is always listening. Amazon says you turn it on and off with one button, and a light shows when it is on. It also does not mean every feature is free. Some features need a Bee Pro plan.
